The Chair of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), Dr. Andreas Barckow, has arrived in the Maldives to take part in two major international events hosted by CA Maldives.

Dr. Barckow will join distinguished delegates at the Asian-Oceania Standard Setters Group (AOSSG) Annual Meeting and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Forum, both scheduled to take place at Villa Nautica from 27–29 November.

These gatherings bring together global leaders in accounting and financial reporting, underscoring the Maldives’ growing role as a hub for international dialogue on standards and best practices.
