Nuwan has over 25 years of experience in providing audit and related assurance services. He has worked in Sri Lanka, Middle East and Maldives. Nuwan has experience in serving many clients in diversified industries including State owned Entities, Banking and Financial service entities, Airlines, Consumer and Retail, Manufacturing, Services, Construction and Leisure. He is currently serving as a resident assurance partner at Ernst & Young Maldives. 

Nuwan is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Maldives (CA Maldives), Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK (CIMA). Nuwan also serves as a member of Technical and Standards committee of CA Maldives.
