Abdulla Nisam is an academic and governance professional with over two decades of teaching experience in ethics, risk management, and corporate governance. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Maldives National University. 

Mr. Nisam holds an MSc in Audit Management and Consultancy from Birmingham City University and has played a pivotal role in advancing professional standards in the Maldives. His contributions extend beyond academia, notably through his service on the Academic Committee during the initial phase of the development of CA Maldives. 

In addition to his academic leadership, Mr. Nisam is the Managing Partner of AccruPlus LLP, a professional services firm specializing in audit, advisory, and financial consultancy. His career reflects a deep commitment to ethical practice, institutional development, and the integration of global standards within local regulatory contexts.
