Mohamed Shifaz Moosa is an audit professional with over eight years of diverse audit experience spanning from information systems audits, financial audits, performance audits, and internal audits across public and private sectors. He is currently the Manager of Information Systems Audit & Data Analytics at the Auditor General’s Office of Maldives. In his role, he leads initiatives to embed information systems auditing into financial audits to enhance audit effectiveness and impact. 

Previously, he provided internal audit services in Western Australia, gaining valuable insights into international audit practices.  

He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) and serves as a member of its Admissions and Licensing Committee. He is currently an Executive Committee member and a Co-Founder of the Internal Audit Association of the Maldives (IAA Maldives). In addition, he is a member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), underscoring his commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
