Hassan Akram Mohamed is a Certified Internal Auditor with over a decade of professional experience in auditing, governance, risk management, and financial leadership. 

He currently serves as the Chief Internal Auditor at Regional Airports Company Limited, leading assurance, and advisory functions to strengthen governance and accountability. 

Akram is the Vice Chairperson and Co-Founder of the Internal Audit Association of Maldives (IAA Maldives), where he previously chaired the Interim Executive Committee that laid the foundation for the association. 

He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) and serves on its Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Committee, contributing to the development and oversight of national standards. 

Akram is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Global Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
