Ahsan Saleem is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in healthcare operations, corporate governance, and the hospitality and tourism sectors. He currently serves as the Director of Operations at Tree Top Hospital in the Maldives, where he oversees key operational departments including ICT, Housekeeping, Security & Transport, and Medical Records. Previously, he led the hospital’s ICT division, playing a pivotal role in the implementation of its health information system and technology infrastructure. 

In addition to his operational role, Ahsan is an Independent, Non-Executive Director at the State Trading Organization (STO), representing public shareholders since June 2023. He chairs the Governance and Sustainability Committee and serves on the Audit and Risk Committee, contributing to the organization’s oversight and strategic governance. 

With a career spanning multiple industries in the Maldives and internationally, Ahsan brings a cross-sectoral perspective to his leadership. He holds advanced qualifications in hotel management and governance from institutions in Switzerland, Australia, Singapore, and the Corporate Directors International.
