Mohamed Anas Riza is the Head of Commercial Banking at the Mauritius Commercial Bank, where he leads the strategic direction of corporate and private banking. His focus lies in driving industry growth through strong client relationships, innovative digital solutions, and high-value financial propositions. 

He holds an MSc in Banking & International Finance from the University of Leeds, where he graduated top of his cohort and received the President’s Award for Special Achievement. He also holds double bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Education from Monash University, Australia, and is a member of the Chartered Banker Institute (UK). 

Beyond his professional role, Anas has served as Vice Chairperson of the Maldives Australia Alumni Association and is a passionate advocate for financial literacy, having founded “laari koba?”, the Maldives’ first free financial literacy platform.
