Ms Dhunya has been working at Ernst & Young, Maldives since 2016. In addition to assurance engagements, she also has experience in consulting-related work. Dhunya has worked with a range of clients across SOEs, group companies, the retail and consumer sector, resort management companies, and SMEs. Furthermore, she is a key member in leading the implementation of ISQM 1 in EY Maldives, aligning with the EY organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality audits and serving the public interest. 

She is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Maldives (CA Maldives) and a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Dhunya also serves as the vice chairperson of the Management and Finance Committee of CA Maldives and as a committee member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability, and Governance (ITAG).
