Pursuant to section 3 (e) of the Regulation for Statutory Audit and Assurance Service Regulation (R-3/2021) published under the Chartered Accountant’s Act (13/2020), Individuals who wishes to acquire the Licence to conduct Statutory Audit and Assurance Services in the Maldives have to complete a Public Practice Training Program conducted by CA Maldives.
Day 1 of the Public Practice Training Program started with a session from Chairperson of Admission and Licencing Committee (ALC), Mr. Ahmed Salih, on Audit Manual for Small and Medium Enterprises. Followed by a session from Ms. Hawwa Jannath, member of ALC, on International Standard on Auditing.
The program is to be carried out from 13th – 14th February 2022.
As per Audit Regulation (R-3/2021), individuals who wishes to acquire the Licence to conduct Statutory Audit and Assurance Services in the Maldives are required to complete a Public Practice Training Program conducted by CA Maldives
