CA Maldives membership applications are accepted via CA Maldives portal. You are required to create a profile at the portal and upload the following documents before submitting your application.
- National Identity / Passport
- Membership certificate of IFAC Member bodies recognized by the Institute
- Member in good standing letter
- Police certificate and Court Clearance (Foreigners applying for CA Maldives membership are required to submit clearance from their jurisdiction)
Criteria
To become an associate member, check if:
- You meet the general eligibility criteria
- You are a member in good standing of an IFAC member body recognized by the Institute
To become a fellow member, check if:
- You meet the general eligibility criteria
- You are a member in good standing of an IFAC member body recognized by the Institute
- You meet one of the following conditions: – holds Fellow Membership status in a professional accountancy body that is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), recognized by the Institute; or
– has been an Associate Member of the Institute and has accumulated at least five years of relevant professional experience in public practice or, in commerce industry, or as a lecturer at an institution of higher education or, as an accountant in business for a period of at least five years. Note: For the purposes of this subsection, only experience gained during periods in which the individual holds Associate Membership of the Institute shall be considered.
