CA Maldives Successfully Concludes the Annual General Meeting 2024

Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives successfully concluded its first-ever physical Annual General Meeting for the year 2024.

The meeting, held on 14 June 2025, was attended by 115 members, marking a key moment of engagement and reflection on the Institute’s journey over the past year.

During the meeting, members approved the Institute’s Annual Report for the year ended 31st December 2024 and the appointment of OditStandard LLP as the auditors for the year 2025, at a remuneration of MVR 30,000.

President of the Institute, Mr. Mohamed Haleem Abdulla, addressed the members with reflections on the past year and the Institute’s continued progress. He highlighted key achievements, including strengthened international collaborations, increased member engagement, and ongoing regulatory developments.

Alongside Council members, the President also engaged directly with the participants, responding to queries and providing insights into the Institute’s plans for 2025.

In his closing remarks, President, Mr. Haleem expressed his appreciation to the members for their continued trust and support, and extended his thanks to all stakeholders who have contributed to the Institute’s journey.
