Ali Nafees is a technology and business solutions professional serving as Chief Product Officer at PiNetworks Pvt Ltd, a Microsoft Solutions Partner with specialist status in Business Applications and a trusted technology partner to numerous state-owned enterprises and leading corporate organizations in the Maldives.

At PiNetworks, Nafees leads two core portfolios. As Chief Product Officer, he drives product strategy and innovation, spearheading the design and development of new digital products while overseeing the full product lifecycle from concept to delivery. In parallel, he leads complex, multi-phase digital transformation initiatives under his project management portfolio, delivering large-scale enterprise solution implementations that combine strong business and industry expertise with technical depth.

Beyond his role at PiNetworks, Nafees brings extensive experience in public policy and economic development. He served as a Consultant for the World Bank COVID-19 Income Support Project, managed by the Ministry of Economic Development, where he designed business processes for national programmes, led system architecture and design efforts, and oversaw the end-to-end development lifecycle. Earlier, as a Policy and Research Consultant at the Ministry of Economic Development, he worked closely with senior government policymakers and contributed to the Minimum Wage Advisory Board, playing a key role in the formulation and establishment of the Maldives’ first minimum wage policy.
