Ali Anif is the Head of Operations at Dhiraagu Fintech, where he oversees the day-to-day operations of DhiraaguPay, with a focus on service delivery, operational resilience and process effectiveness. He has over 13 years of experience across tax audit, finance, risk and compliance, and business operations. This gives him a practical understanding of both the regulatory and commercial sides of the financial sector.

Before his current role, Anif was Head of Risk and Compliance at Dhiraagu Fintech. Earlier, he was Director of Operations and Senior Finance Manager at Business Center Corporation, and Senior Tax Auditor at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority. He has also spoken publicly on digital finance for communities, including at the National NGO Forum.

Anif holds a Master’s degree in Project Management, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. He has also pursued professional accounting studies through ACCA.
