Ms. Fareeha Shareef, co-founder of FJS Associates LLP, has over 15 years of experience in the audit and accounting profession.
Former President of CPA Maldives, Ms. Fareeha has also served on the Boards of Directors of several public entities including HDFC PLC, Maldives Pension Administration Office and Bank of Maldives Plc. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ooredoo Maldives.
Ms. Fareeha is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Mohamed Siraj MuneerMember
Mr. Mohamed Siraj Muneer is a Partner at Deloitte Maldives, bringing over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession, with more than 12 years of post-qualification experience across various areas, including accounting, auditing, and taxation.
Prior to moving to the private sector, Mr. Siraj held several senior positions at the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) and the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA). At MIRA, he most recently held the position of Assistant Commissioner General of Revenue Operations, overseeing the MIRA’s tax audits and investigations departments. During this time, Mr. Siraj played a pivotal role in the implementation of the Maldives’ first income tax regime, acting as the Chairperson of the Income Tax Regulations Drafting Committee and leading the Technical Assistance to the Legal Team of MIRA.
Mr. Siraj is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (ICAM). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in sharia and law, demonstrating his knowledge in both accounting and legal disciplines.
Aishath AbdullaMember
Ms. Aishath Abdulla is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in public sector Internal Auditing and is currently the Manager, Internal Audit at the Island Aviation services Limited (IASL). She has been actively working more than 10 years in Auditing, Accounting and Finance field.
In addition to working at IASL, she is the Vice-Chairperson of the State Internal Audit Committee (SIAC) at Ministry of Finance and a member of MNU advisory committee. She regularly lectures as a part-time lecturer at Villa College.
Ali IrufanMember
Ali Irufan is currently the Project Director of the Public Finance Modernization Section at the Ministry of Finance. Prior to his appointment as Project Director,
he served as a consultant for the Public Finance Development Service and as a Fund Analyst for the Treasury and Public Accounts Department.
He has over fourteen years of experience in public finance and public procurement, including donor-funded projects.
He is a member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants’ (SAFA) committee on government and public sector accounting, as well as the Finance Commission of the
Maldives Red Crescent. Furthermore, he served as a vice chairman of the National Tender Board and as a committee member of the State Internal Audit Committee.
He is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). In addition, he holds a Master of Business Administration from the University
of the West of England and a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot-Watt University.
