Mr. Malinda Boyagoda is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK (CIMA – UK). He graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura; Sri Lanka with a Degree in BSc Business Administration specialised in Finance.

He has over 20 years of post-qualification experience working for Big-4 professional services firms. This include 10 years of overseas experience working in Botswana, USA and Cayman Islands.

He’s an Audit and Assurance Partner at Deloitte Sri Lanka and Maldives. The leadership roles he play in the firm include, being the Assurance Leader, Industry Leader for Financial Services, Ethics leader and IFRS leader.

Mr. Malinda is a member of the Sri Lanka Accounting Standard Implementation and Interpretation Committee of CA Sri Lanka. He also  has acted as an independent, non-executive director and the audit committee chair or a leading non-banking financial service sector organization.
