On 2 July 2025, the President of CA Maldives, Mr. Mohamed Haleem, the Vice President, Mr. Ali Faris, Council Member Mr. Ibrahim Fazeel, and members of the Academic Committee met with the Maldives Qualification Authority (MQA).

During the meeting, CA Maldives raised concerns received from potential CA members regarding the challenges faced in the validation of professional accounting certificates. CA Maldives requested assistance from MQA to better facilitate the validation of professional accounting qualifications submitted for consideration. MQA agreed to bring a solution to the issue and expressed interest in strengthening future collaborations with CA Maldives.
