Introduction
Welcome to the first-ever Auditors Forum, hosted by CA Maldives. This milestone event brings together audit professionals from across the country to discuss key developments, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of the audit profession.
Strengthening Quality. Embracing Innovation. Enhancing Trust.
From strengthening quality management through ISQM 1 and ISQM 2 to navigating the impact of AI on audits, this forum will tackle some of the most pressing and transformative issues in the profession today. This year’s forum will explore how audit professionals can provide assurance on ESG using ISSA 5000, enhance IT audit readiness, align with AML expectations, and address pricing strategies for professional services. Participants will also gain key insights into common pitfalls in local audits from a quality review perspective.
The forum offers a space for meaningful conversations, practical insights, and shared learning. It’s an opportunity to reflect on where we are, where the profession is heading, and how we can better respond to growing expectations around quality, transparency, and innovation.
We look forward to a productive and engaging experience as we work together to strengthen the role of auditors in today’s fast-changing environment.
