Mr. Rajith is a Partner at EY and leads the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) Ernst & Young, Sri Lanka. He is also the IFRS Leader for EY Sri Lanka and Maldives and has over 15 years of professional experience with the firm. His experience spans a wide range of IFRS/IAS consultancy engagements, and he has led numerous IFRS/SLFRS implementation projects for large public interest entities in Sri Lanka and across the region.
He currently serves as a council member of CA Sri Lanka and the Chairman of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka).

Mr. Rajith is an IFRS Accredited Trainer of Ernst & Young Sri Lanka and acts as a resource person for the Central Bank Training Centre, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and many professional institutions.

Mr. Rajith carries extensive IFRS implementation knowledge in Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal and the Maldives. During his term he was also seconded to Ernst & Young Singapore, where he specialized in Financial Services Risk Management and Accounting related advisory services.
