TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration as a author for the CA Maldives Journal (“the Journal”). By registering, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to comply with these terms.
1. Eligibility
1.1. You confirm that all information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
1.2. Upon successful submission of the application, your status as a registered author will be confirmed.
2. Submission and Review Process
2.1. Registration grants you the opportunity to submit articles for potential publication in the Journal.
2.2. Authors will be required to submit a summary for articles which exceed 500 words and for research papers.
2.3. Summary will be reviewed based on relevance, originality, and alignment with the Journal’s guidelines.
2.4. If your summary is accepted, you will be invited to submit a full article, which will undergo further review.
3. Intellectual Property and Authorship
3.1. You affirm that all submitted content is original and does not infringe upon any intellectual property rights.
3.2. Plagiarism, including failure to properly credit sources, and submission of AI-generated content without appropriate disclosure are strictly prohibited.
3.3. By submitting content, you grant the Institute a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and distribute your work in any format, while retaining full copyright ownership.
4. Code of Conduct
4.1. You are expected to adhere to professional writing standards and ethical practices.
4.2. Any misconduct, including plagiarism or non-compliance with submission guidelines and deadlines may result in the termination of your registration.
5. Governing Law
5.1. These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Maldives.
5.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maldivian courts.
6. Modifications and Terminations
6.1. The Institute reserves the right to remove you from the Authors’ Register at its sole discretion.
6.2. The Institute reserves the right to reject, edit, or request revisions to any submitted content.
6.3. The Institute reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any updates will be communicated through official channels.
6.4. Continued participation following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
