Prof. Dr. Md. Salim Uddin FCMA is currently working as the Professor of Accounting department of University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He is also working as the Chairman of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) and the Chairman of Union Bank Ltd.

Dr. Salim is a fellow member of 3 (three) professional accounting bodies such as (i) the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh-ICAB (ii) the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh-ICMAB and (iii) The Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy-CIPFA, UK.

He was an Independent Director of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), was also an Independent Director of Premier Bank Ltd and Director of Rupali Bank Ltd and Rupali Investment Ltd.
