Aushan Latheef is the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Maldives Stock Exchange (MSE) and Maldives Securities Depository (MSD), providing strategic leadership in executing Board-approved strategies and working closely with stakeholders to shape the future of the Maldivian capital market. His tenure has been marked by significant regulatory reforms across key areas, including listing frameworks, enforcement, post-listing compliance, and the introduction of innovative, technology-driven market solutions.

With over 20 years of corporate experience across the Maldives, Singapore and Australia, Aushan brings extensive expertise in credit, private equity and corporate strategy, complemented by more than nine years of experience in Board and executive leadership roles. He holds a Master of Finance from the Australian National University and serves as an Executive Member of the South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE).
