Mr. Manil Jayesinghe is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). He is the Past President of CA Sri Lanka (2019-2021). Heading Assurance Practice in Sri Lanka and as the Professional Practicing Director, he served Ernst &Young as a Partner and as the Managing Partner of Sri Lanka & Maldives. Counting over 40 years of extensive commercial experience in Auditing banks, financial and insurance entity and was the Partner in Charge of the Banking, Financial and Insurance Services practice of the Sri Lanka firm.  He has extensive experience in all other industries including manufacturing, retail and wholesale business and telecommunication. At present he serves as the Chairman of the Accounting Standards Committee of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), Member of the Board of Sri Lanka Accounting & Auditing Standards Monitoring Board, Council member of CMA Sri Lanka, Member of Commission of Securities & Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka, Consultant to the Audit Committees of the Listed Companies.
