Nuwan has over 20 years of experience in providing audit and related assurance services, which includes over 18 years with BIG 4 firms. He has worked in Sri Lanka, Middle East, and Maldives. Nuwan has experience in serving many clients in diversified industries including Financial Services, Airlines, Consumer and Retail, Manufacturing, Services, Construction and Leisure. Nuwan has extensive experience in auditing Public Listed and Private Clients. He possesses in-depth knowledge of IFRS/SLFRS. He also has experience in serving many key clients of EY Sri Lanka and is a key resource person at EY Sri Lanka in relation to providing training and coaching personnel at EY.

Nuwan is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Maldives (CA Maldives), Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of UK (CIMA).
